Website Review ELANCE

So i looked up this website the other day....

Its called elance, its a website devoted to networking providers and job seekers for outsourcing, online instead of on-site, all kinds of jobs. Anything from dirty cheap data entry to expensive professional web-site design.

I have previously encountered websites like elance, and odesk before in my ever constant search for legitimate money making on the web. If you are a provider you post details about your job, requirements, and pay rate.

On the flip side if you are looking for a job you simply browse postings until you find one in your interest or skill set. Once accepted you have to complete it within a time frame if given and to the providers requirements.

Websites like these are aimed at all ranges of people who know how to use a computer and the internet. You can find jobs ranging from simple, only requireing minimal knowledge of a computer, to job specific like designing a professional web-site. Basically just about anyone who kind find the site can use it to make money.

The site could be useful to me if i was willing to sit down and devote time to looking for jobs and completing them, but i tend to look for even simpler ways to make money online. This site could be useful to someone with more knowledge of web design or programming because some companies pay nice sums of money to have these things done for them. As i build my career i may keep my eye on sites like this to earn a little side money.

The cool thing about this website is that it allows companies to outsource projects that they may not have time for or feel are trivial for them. So this gives them access to professionals and others outside their company who may be able to do it for them or may be willing to take jobs just from them for certain payments.

I would encourage you the reader to look at this sight and others like it becaue it seems to be a great way to make money. Sure i have yet to try it because i personally don't have time to devote everyday or every other day right now, but if you do and can find jobs to fit you and your time frame, then its a simple way to make a little extra cash. Or you could devote more time to it and earn a lot of cash, it seems to be one of those things where depending on your skill level and and amount of time put into it determines the amount of pay you get.

I personally thought the design and navigation of the website was realitively simple and pretty user friendly, but there are other reviews i have run across that praise elance as a decent source of income but say it lacks in some areas such as this one, at webreviewer.com have stated that processes like messaging and project management need to be more like odesk and use more than just email to communicate.
